Retail Buyer/Planner

Retail buyer/planners will be responsible for maintaining the control of inventory supply and demand throughout the retail areas of the supply chain.
Buyer/planners will be accountable for leading the accuracy, efficiency, and productivity of inventory procurement and replenishment planning processes within their respective areas.
The retail buyer/planner must ensure all sales, inventory, and reporting objectives are aligned with leadership strategy.
Job Responsibilities Analyzes inventory consumption and availability to ensure strategic goals are achieved.
Manages retail inventory supervisors and supports associate team members.
Maintains integrity of inventory value and days on hand reporting.
Maintains integrity of incoming supply and allocation reporting.
Maintains product assortments based on demand evaluation.
Assesses promotional opportunities with support of marketing and finance.
Negotiates and documents incoming supply agreements.
Manages and maintains purchase order management system; facilitates updates to related database and/or software under the direction of the supply chain leadership.
Manages and maintains planning management system; facilitates updates to related database and/or software under the direction of the supply chain leadership.
Perform all other assigned tasks.

years of inventory control experience.
Strong data analytics capabilities.
Proficient with excel and inventory management systems.
Ability to use the computer.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to manage high stress situations and to be flexible and adaptable when required.
Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task.
At least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the US.
Proper employment documentation.
Reliable transportation and valid drivers license.
Willingness to work evenings and weekends, if requested.
Experience and knowledge in horticulture and/or agriculture preferred.
Physical Demands Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking for extended periods.
Education Bachelors in Business, Analytics, Supply Chain, or related equivalent preferred.
Minimum High School Diploma or G.

D equivalent required.
